As the Annuity Product Development Specialist, you will support and deliver on routine assignments and projects, under minimal supervision, to aid in the product development process for Lincolns Annuity business. You will also act as a resource to applicable internal and external stakeholders and interact with key business partners across the organization and externally.
:Creates and maintains product specifications for use in the product implementation process.
:Develops an understanding of the market, customer needs, the competition and the strengths and gaps in the current product portfolio.
:Develops and maintains relationships with key internal partners through participation in workgroups, Ready:to:Sell meetings and other forums as required.
:Identifies options and tradeoffs for consideration in new product development and gathers input on new product development ideas.
:Provides technical expertise and problem resolution support as needed to improve profitability and reduce risk
:Provides technical input to and review of marketing materials, contract and prospectus language to ensure technical accuracy
:Provides technical product knowledge and guidance to drive decisions during system requirement sessions and operational meetings by explaining product design concepts and features.
:Responds efficiently to roadblocks, remaining dedicated to achieve team and departmental goals.
:Supports in:force business management issues for Lincolns Annuity business, such as identifying negative impacts to considering special requests from internal stakeholders.
:Creates and maintains various reports as needed for management
:4 Year Bachelors degree or 4+ years of equivalent work experience
:1 : 3+ Years of Experience with Annuity Product Development and Implementation (e.g., idea development, operational requirements meetings, marketing launches, etc.)
:1+ Years of Experience with Annuity Product Management (e.g., financials, valuation, investments, pricing, risk management, etc.)
:Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
:Demonstrated solid relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues)
:Demonstrates solid project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time:sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines
:Strong written and verbal communication skills
