We are an Independent Insurance Agency located in Hamden, CT seeking an experienced Personal Lines CSR. If hired the candidate would be the lead CSR in our personal lines department and would supervise two other CSRs. A minimum of 5 years experience as a personal lines CSR is required to be considered for the position. Independent Insurance Agency located in Hamden, CT is looking for a motivated, knowledgeable and professional commercial insurance department manager for a full time position with the following job duties:

:New Business; Quoting, Application Processing, Follow Ups, Presentation, Binding
:Renewals; Review weekly renewal report with support team
:Ability to manage up to 5+ carriers and excess lines with brokers
:Endorsement; Monitoring, Reviewing, Assisting in transactions
:Client Service; Problem Solving, Billing Questions, Coverage Review
:Marketing; Creation of Marketing Reports and Plans, Prospect List from internal base
:Cross Selling; Rounding out of accounts

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

:Excellent communication skills and exchange information with others clearly and concisely; ability to present ideas, facts,
:Customer Service Driven with attention to detail
:Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor, co:workers, customers
:Ability to use telephone and other traditional and modern office equipment:
*Strong Computer Skills including Mirosoft Office Applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook
*Familiar with Agency Management Systems such as Applied TAM or AMS
*Efficient and accurate data entry skills
*Ability to work within a paperless environment and use of scanner hardware and software
