We deliver mission-critical processing for information management, analysis, trading, accounting, reporting and compliance.Payroll Administrator Job Description-WindsorThe incumbent is responsible for the accurate processing of complex multi-state payroll, inclusive of adjustments to earnings, benefits, and taxes and assisting in the conversion of acquisitions to Ceridian system.Interfaces effectively with internal/external employees, management, and third parties.Works under tight deadlines and heavy volume of work in fast paced, quality focused environment.Focused on attention to detail, client business rules, providing outstanding customer service.Team environment with high dedication to organization and clients.Skills / RequirementsESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES.Maintains highest degree of confidentiality.Certified Payroll Professional desired but not required.Enters or imports data into Payroll systems based on payroll schedule.Process and submit payroll via Ceridian Dayforce application.Review and audit payroll for accuracy prior to committing.Download and review payroll reports after completion of payroll.Create custom reports in order to properly audit and track health and welfare benefit plans, including but not limited to Health Savings, Flexible Savings (125 plan), and 401k contributions, employer match, and discretionary contributions.Establishes rapport and works closely with clients and internal business partners as necessary to ensure policies and rules are implemented correctly.Assist with projects related to payroll conversions or acquisitions.Acts as liaison between Payroll, internal partners, and Third Parties as Subject Matter expert for payroll. Involvement with special projects as determined and needed related to payroll, timekeeping, special pay situations, etc.Responds to inquiries from employees and customers; both internal and external. Researches problems, recommends solutions and processes corrections or improvements in a timely manner.Work closely with Human Resources, Benefits, and Finance departments to ensure accuracy and provide payroll related information.Education and Experience:Bachelor Degree and minimum of 5+ years of experience in payroll or human resources or equivalent are essential for this job.Prior experience in maintaining company payroll.Knowledge of federal and state wage and tax laws and overtime requirements.Knowledge of payroll related benefits to include 401K contributions, HSA, audits and census reporting.
