•Mastery of shipping methods, i.e. FEDEX, UPS, USPS, transit times, rules and regulations
•Ability to give strategic feedback to sales team on when orders should be shipped in order to arrive in premium condition
•Troubleshooting all shipping issues such as delivery exceptions, returned orders, and missed deliveries. This includes arranging for courier transport of missed orders, delivery exception response within one hour, and full reporting to the Sales team of all issues so that prompt client follow-up can be made.
•Handle all Freight Claims, Damage Reports
•Acquire and provide tracking information to customers and sales associates
•Improving shipping systems and functionality
•Responding to requests for shipping quotes from the Sales team in timely manner with full accuracy
•Maintaining shipping supply inventory and collaborating with Warehouse Manager on supplies ordering well in advance of out of stock
