As a Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will manage the daily operation of a production line or department to assure goals of production output, quality and cost efficiencies are achieved. Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor will include:
- Manages daily production operations within a production department on multiple shifts or across several departments on a single shift to ensure manufacture of parts, products, components or assemblies, or to perform service functions, within established timeline, quality and cost standards.
- Establishes short-term activities directed toward production continuity and balance, such as creating shift schedules, ensuring requisition of materials, machine loading, tools, grievance resolution and equipment maintenance.
- Coordinates and integrates with other plant function areas to ensure support in attaining output, productivity and quality.
- Identify cost savings and efficiencies within the business units by performing business process reviews and develop action plans to implement best practices.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operators. Directs and coordinates the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods. Cooperate with other supervisors to coordinate production and related activities within or between departments.

Working hours: 2nd Shift

Production Supervisor Qualifications:
--Impeccable integrity and the ability to work well as an individual contributor or as part of a team.
--Proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications
--Strong organizational and problem solving skills
--Technical Acumen - Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment/tools. Strong MRP system experience in production
--Leadership - Strong leadership skills; eventually supervise daily work activities of more than one shift or team.
--Results-oriented - Strong knowledge of processes and machines related to products manufactured within assigned area and may coordinate efforts with shifts, to insure smooth transition of work.
--Good Communication skills, both written and oral.

Education Requirements:
--High School Diploma or GED - Required.
--Bachelor's Degree - Bachelor of Science in technical or related field: Business, Logistics, Operations or adequate experience in Materials Management - Preferred
