Becoming A Modern Day Bodhisattva with Resident Teacher Kadam Eve Saturday, March 18 ~ 10am-12pm at Odiyana Center
A Bodhisattva is a friend of the world, someone who has decided to develop their good qualities, such as love, compassion and wisdom, and reach their full potential in order to benefit others. Going for refuge is the doorway to entering Buddhism and becoming a Buddhist, and taking the Bodhisattva Vow is the doorway to entering Mahayana Buddhism and following the Bodhisattva’s way of life. Kadam Eve will explain these steps in the morning teaching and grant Refuge and Bodhisattva vows in the afternoon.

Everyone is welcome. You can attend the Introduction/Teaching without attending the Vow Ceremony; if you wish you can take Refuge Vows without taking the Bodhisattva Vow.

Registration: 9:30-10am
Introduction/Teaching: 10am-12pm
Lunch Break: 12-1pm
Vow Ceremony: 1-3pm
Cost: $40 for entire course/ $20 for Introduction/Teaching only- No one turned away for lack of funds
