Freedom from Stress: Navigating the modern workplace, Sat, Sept. 16, 11:30am – 1:30pm at Odiyana Kadampa Buddhist Center, 36 Main St, East Hartford, with Resident Teacher Kelsang Khyenwang.

"Work" can be extremely challenging or highly enjoyable, all depending upon our state of mind. We often spend more hours at work than in any other part of our life. It is essential then, that we learn how to transform our daily situations. Through gaining experience in meditation, we can practically learn how to identify uncontrolled states of mind and transform them into stable, deeply meaningful intentions, thoughts and actions. In this class, learn how to approach the modern workplace and all the situations that arise there, with confidence and clarity.

Guided meditation/Teaching: 11:30am - 12:15pm, Break: 12:15- 12:45pm and Meditation, Q & A: 12:45-1:30pm.

Cost: $25. No one turned away for lack of funds.

This class is perfect for beginners and advanced meditators alike. No experience necessary. Everyone welcome.
