Job Description:/h3:
Set up and operate multiple Swiss / CNC Lathe machines to customer specifications, while adhering to specific quality, production, and scheduling requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures production and quality of products meets specifications.
Reviews Daily Productivity reports and resolves operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to prevent operational delays.Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
Performs setups and runs production to meet productivity standards and scheduling deadlines.
Compiles, stores and retrieves production data and tooling by ensuring that all tooling is properly stored after production runs and tooling is in place for the beginning of each production run.
Analytical : Collects and researches data Uses intuition and experience to complement data.
Design : Generates creative solutions, and demonstrates attention to detail.
Problem Solving : Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information, and develops alternative solutions.
Technical Skills : Pursues training and development opportunities, strives to continuously buil knowledge and skills, and shares expertise with others.
Interpersonal Skills : Remains open to others ideas and tries new things.

Attendance / Punctuality : Is consistently at work and on time.
Education and Experience : High School Diploma or Equivalent, and 3:5 years of related experience. An associates degree in mechanical engineering would be a plus
Language Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents such as, safety rules, blueprints, geometrical tolerancing, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills : Have good geometry and trigonometry skills, as well as basic math skills using fractions, percentages etc.
