There are multiple openings within Electrical Design (D456).High School/GED or Vocational High School with equivalent work experience. Prefer 2 yr Technical School/College. Desired qualifications: Knowledge of Microsoft products, familiarity with design practices/rules and CAD tools, ability to perform design related math functions, ability to read and interpret written instructions and drawings (blueprints), and the desire to develop skills through on:the:job experience and continued education to advance in the design profession. Familiarity with Electrical Design Systems, Cableways and Components a plus. Familiarity with Design Standards, Military Specifications, Manufacturing Processes, Design for Six Sigma, Lean Design/Manufacturing is a plus. Demonstrated proficiency in drafting (portfolio) with Computer Aided Design (CAD) is required (Autocad/CATIA/NX preferred).
