Job Description:/h3:
Independent, creative developer needed for project oriented controls integration. Applicants should be able to think on their feet and be adaptable to changing situations. Work involves direct customer interaction design and on site installation of customer specific applications for process control and or material handling.
Individual performs engineering functions in support Ignition SCADA systems. Individual
interfaces/supports engineers in the development of software tools to ensure the safe and reliable operation of a variety of manufacturing and warehousing environments. Individual is responsible for maintaining SCADA applications within the Ignition development environment; individual may also be involved with programmable logic controllers and electrical design. Participates in maintaining existing applications and may provide operator training on the use of these systems. Individual will support development and implementation of new software applications and upgrades to system capability. Individual also ensures appropriate inputs and device connectivity with information technology best practices.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage overall electrical engineering and software projects to support manufacturing facilities
:Lead process and equipment troubleshooting to support deviations, corrective actions and related issues.
:Coordinate specification, fabrication, procurement, installation, engineering start:up, and validation activities of new equipment and systems, including documentation of application protocols, test executions, and summary reports.
:Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) or automation improvement changes.
:Participate in design and hazard reviews of plant expansions or process changes, and serving as the technical point of contact for design, installation, and validation of Ignition SCADA systems.
:Point person for software improvement activities; including performing or authoring equipment specifications, user and functional requirements specifications, and allocating design resources.
:Initiate and manage projects, tracking spending of budgets, creating scope of work, justification, risk assessments, cost estimates, and purchase orders.
:Conduct training and maintain records
:Collaborative approach and attitude with other departments and team members
:Good intrapersonal and presentation skills
:Ability and desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team

SQL databases
Practical Networking
Ethernet Concepts
4:year college degree in engineering or related discipline
2+ years experience in field
Proficiency in computer applications
Languages / Databases / Other skills;
Visual Studio
Administering FTP Server
Allen Bradley PLC experience
