**Role Summary:**
The Field Service Technician will provide service to customers by installing, repairing or removing wellhead and frac equipment according to blueprints and manufacturer s instructions. In this role, you will apply knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical machinery.
**Essential Responsibilities:**
In the role of Field Service Technician, you will:
+ Comply with, all safety, health, environmental and quality Management Systemrequirements, policies and procedures relevant to the position
+ Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements in respective areas ofresponsibility and/or location and monitor customer satisfaction. Provide customer with writtenreports
+ Follow customer service orders as dispatched from Service Manager
+ Complete necessary paperwork for invoicing, equipment identification and tracking, inventorycontrol and expense monitoring
+ Evaluate, assemble / disassemble, install & repair all types / brands of wellhead and fracequipment
+ Diagnose service problems and recommend or implement appropriate solutions
+ Ensure periodic maintenance and repairs to Company vehicle consistent with company policy
+ Maintain Company vehicle with necessary tools and equipment to perform service jobs
+ Operate Company vehicle in compliance with applicable Company
+ Have the ability to safely deploy to remote geographic assignment locations onshore and offshore locations with limited access to medical care, which may require 4 hours (or more) travel time to reach secondary level medical care **Qualifications/Requirements:**
+ High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
+ Minimum 6 months of experience in field service or oil fieldEligibility Requirements:
+ Work on-call 24/7
+ Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
+ Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending andother physical activities
+ Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarilystanding and sitting, as required
+ Lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
+ Be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time
+ Obtain Class A CDL license, when required by state law or whentowing test unit trailer
+ To the extent that you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE owned /leased or rented vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your
+ Undergo Periodic fitness for duty tests, examinations, and/or certifications will be required foronshore/offshore remote location assignments **Desired Characteristics:**
