Responsible for all of the requirements for Sr. Project Manager plus demonstrates the ability to identify key people to bring about change and understands underlying cultural dynamics to develop a network of contacts and target specific people to achieve project goals and objectives. Possesses awareness of significant contributing factors to manage project change, demonstrates a solid understanding of the end to end business processes and the critical IT dependencies as well as knowledge of additional regions and Enterprise needs . Primary duties may included, but are not limited to:
* Manages projects across business units, regions or the enterprise
* Influences at all levels within the organization, often setting strategy and direction; coaches and mentors project team members
* Mentors other project managers around project management methodology
* Determines project scope
* Develops resource, risk, quality, cost, and scope management plans
* Develops training plans; defines, recommends and secures contractual agreements for services and products
* Coordinates requirements, schedules implementation and post-implement plans, and develops service-level agreements for vendor partners and global resources firms
* Develops requirements documents
* Develops project approval matrix
* Identifies project team training and tool needs
* Defines quality gates for each project methodology phase
* Defines critical success factors; establishes and manages the project warranty period
Requires:
* BA/BS; MA preferred in related field required
* 10 years project management experience required
* PMP certification required
* Experience with agile or traditional waterfall methodologies required
* Experience in areas that support cost of care required
* Prior anthem experience preferred
* Ability to write to an executive audience
* Excellent communication skills
* Able to work with line level/executive staff
