Paradigm Precision specializes in the manufacturing of complex fabrication and precision machined components for gas turbine engines. We serve customers around the world in commercial and military aviation, power generation, the marine industry, rotary wing and unmanned aerial vehicles.


Designs, plans, and implements corporate talent development programs, policies, and procedures. Researches new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing training programs to meet the changing needs of the organization. Manages the Paradigm Precision Learning Academy, Leadership Development Program, Certified Supervisor Program, Engineering Development Program and US-based apprentice programs. Ensures that training materials and aids are kept up-to-date and are effective.


Will include one or more of the following:

Assess training and development needs throughout the organization and align training objectives with business goals. Develop and deliver training and development programs to meet those needs.
Manage the Paradigm Precision Learning Academy, including course and content creation and/or modification, providing training to SME’s, monitoring attendee participation, reporting on training completion status.
Oversee the Paradigm Precision Leadership Development Program and Paradigm Precision Certified Supervisor Program, including the creation of learning modules, identifying training partners and the management of logistics.
Manage the US-based apprentice program and the Engineer Development Program.
Manage the employee development process, including providing consultative service on individual employee development programs.
Identify and implement key metrics for training success and obtain and track feedback from course participants and adjust training as required.
Conduct the research and analysis necessary to make recommendations to management regarding the application of specific human resources processes.
Provide assistance, interpretation, guidance and counseling to customers and other human resources professionals on matters related to the area or areas of specialization.
Research and recommend best practices in area of specialization.
Able to work under minimal supervision.
Other duties as assigned.


This job may have supervisory responsibilities.


Bachelor degree in relevant discipline. Five or more years of human resources, training or employee development experience required.

Ability to develop and/or revise standard employee development practices and procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must have a proven track record of successful customer interactions both internal and external. Must be results oriented, have a strong bias for action, be self-motivated and directed.

Skilled in talent management including the ability to develop, train, coach, and mentor employees. Set clear expectations, goals and hold employees and managers accountable.

Able to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding work environment and able to balance conflicting and multiple priorities.

Strong computer skills that include a working knowledge of web-based learning management systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).

Solid analytical, decision making skills with the ability to quickly and effectively evaluate information in a timely basis.

Experience in lean manufacturing principles and thorough understanding of Kaizen, 6S, Kanban (formulas, implementation and management). Experience with ISO or QS 9000 systems, global manufacturing, six-sigma/Lean manufacturing background is a plus.
