Ensure that the quality management system procedures and processes are implemented and maintained. Has overall responsibility for productivity, quality and safety in accordance with company needs and based on customer requirements. Responsible for implementing and maintaining operations processes and procedures, reporting on performance and initiating improvements for operations. Establish and meet site objectives in the areas of financial performance, safety, quality, and customer service in compliance with all applicable internal and external policies. Provide accurate and timely submission of key quality, financial, and safety reports. Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively. Take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy. Consult with Human Resources as appropriate. Coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers and supervisors to insure objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner. Provide direction, development and leadership to Managers and Supervisors.   Oversee the management of facility(s) as it relates to following areas/duties:Labor Management - Operations - Equipment - Communication - Documentation / Reporting - Quality and Environmental Management Systems - Safety, Sanitation, Security - Inventory Management - Serve as a liaison with external parties on matters relating to procurement of service - Attend Management System Review meetings as required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree; five to eight years of progressive experience in supply chain management in a supply chain/distribution environment, including a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through othersDemonstrated planning, project management, problem solving techniques and analytical skills; able to partner and communicate with all levels of an organization from hourly associates to senior management, as well as with customer contactsProficient in Microsoft Office suite, warehouse management systems, database systemsExperience in ISO environment preferred   We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
