Your ideas are our fuel.In your role, you will:Troubleshoots, inspects and performs maintenance on customer aircraft sheet metal components, composites and hydraulics. Performs and documents all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.- Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hanger positions)- Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform work in a safe and timely manner- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft- Remove / install aircraft components as required- Fabricate and or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts- Perform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detached- Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures- Assist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft- Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required- Operate ground support equipment as required- Assist with aircraft component repair- Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations as required- Perform other duties as assignedADDITIONAL DUTIES- May assist with maintenance at off-site locations- May fabricate parts for ground support equipment (Commercial only)- Assist in towing aircraft- Assist other maintenance disciplinesQualificationsAs our ideal candidate,You would typically have 3 years structural sheet metal repair / modification experience or substantiated similar experienceYou would typically have a minimum of 1 year corporate aircraft experienceYou have attended a sheet metal A/C Tech school or equivalent schoolingYou have the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawingsYou have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft statusYou own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of toolsYuoYou have the ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as requiredYou have the ability to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidaysYYou have the ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather outsideYou have the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) (If applicable)You have basic PC skillsYou have experience on corporate jet aircraft - preferredYou have an A Certification, or A & P Certificate - preferredBombardier is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) and is committed to creating a diverse environment.
