FT : 2nd shift :3:30am:12:00am
FT/PART TIME available : Flexible 2nd shift hours/days for part time..split shift..any hours..any choose
To effectively develop and implement documentation, procedures, systems, programs and tools for the purpose of making continuous improvements to the quality, cost, and lead:time of goods and services provided to the customers of the company.

1. Primary Responsibilities
Set:up: troubleshoot and maintenance of secondary tooling including but not limited to first piece quality submission.
Builds secondary tooling for limited production runs.
Build fixtures:gages and open
Alert management for machine maintenance.
Schedule and prepare internal tool maintenance.
Standardize machine component inventory. Tool holders:Cut:off components
100 on time per confirmed production schedule.
Zero past due.
2. Assist in the development of project/tool estimates (quotes) and review project.
3. Assist in the development of Lean Projects.
4. Assist the Engineering and Tooling Managers for all metal stamping and fourslide programs.
5. Resolve issues on specific projects and articulate as directed by management.
6. Observe company processes and give recommendations for improvement.
7. Assist in recommendation of how and where to create cellular manufacturing.
8. Update/correct job travelers for operation changes/additions.
9. Maintains adherence to company policies, environmental and safety standards as well as good
and good housekeeping practices.
10. Performs other duties as directed.
11. Attendance is an essential function of the job.

1. High School, Trade School graduate or demonstrated equivalent skills.
2. Minimum of 5 years management experience.
Strong knowledge and hands:on experience in
production/operation/maintenance of secondary tooling.
3. 4:6 years experience in manufacturing engineering or quality engineering. Knowledge of lean
manufacturing and its components (i.e. Kaizen, Kanban, SMED, 5S, etc.).
4. Ability to read:understand blue prints as needed for production manufacturing.
5. Familiar with principles of concurrent engineering and design for manufacturing and assembly.
6. Working knowledge of ISO quality standards and practical experience with the use of statistical process control in a production environment.
7. Experience with production standards, cost of quality and manufacturing methods.
8. Detail and task driven work ethic.

1. Visual ability (corrected) to read directions and prints and to inspect parts closely to ensure that they meet specifications.
2. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery for precision work.
3. Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending.
4. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted
