Job Description:/h3:
Summary: Responsible for all stages of inspection process including incoming, in:process, and final inspection. Ensure that product is built in accordance with customer and company quality requirements by monitoring and improving process and working closely with all AdChem functional teams. Must be capable of functioning in a collaborative team atmosphere and communicating effectively with others.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist Quality Manager in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system
Develop and assist in training in order to build companywide quality awareness
Interface with engineering and operations to ensure smooth transfer of new product into production in accordance with proper quality standards and customer requirements
Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system
Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions to be taken
Analyze process failures and determine corrective and preventive actions in order to prevent re:occurrences
Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc
Continuously participate in improving process and procedures
Ensure timely resolution of supplier complaints and non:conformances, create corrective and preventative actions
Assist in improvement of supplier quality and on:time delivery and participate in supplier audits
Ability to lead MRB/Quality Clinic
Preparation of QA reports and documentation including Inspection Master Sheets (IMS) and first piece acceptance (form AS9102)
Ability to measure and dimensionally evaluate parts including surface plate layout capability when required
Maintain strong communication and relationship with the manufacturing and other company teams
Ability to lead continuous improvement efforts related to lean manufacturing (6S, TPM, PM, OEE... tracking and improvements)
Work with management to achieve strategic mission through quality improvements
Maintain a healthy and safe work environment
Work collaboratively with other AdChem functional leadership
Analyze problems, eliminate variances, drive to root cause and implement improvement methods and procedures

Education and/or Experience
3:5 years relevant quality experience required
Acquainted with the usage of basic metrology tools
Ability to read and interpret specifications
Experience in continuous improvement or lean methodology is desired, including; Process Mapping, 5S etc.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other customer specifications
Proficient in GDT (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance)
Understanding and application of SPC and Gage R and R concepts
Must be familiar with current ISO requirements

Language Skills
Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
Ability to read/write work instructions, specifications

Computer Skills
Proficient in navigation of MRP system (Epicor preferred)
Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
