These arrangements are developed from system diagrams, design sketches, layouts and/or concepts, manufacture, assembly and test data. There are multiple openings within Piping and Ventilation (452)High School or Vocational High School with equivalent work experience. Prefer 2 yr Technical School/College. Demonstrated proficiency in drafting (portfolio) with Computer Aided Design (CAD) is required (Autocad/ CATIA / NX preferred).A portfolio demonstrating CAD work, knowledge of Microsoft products, familiarity with basic design practices/rules and CAD tools, ability to perform design related math functions, ability to read and interpret written instructions, the ability to read and interpret drawings (blueprints), and the desire to develop skills through on:the:job experience and continued education to advance in the design profession. Familiarity with Design Standards, Military Specifications, Manufacturing Processes, Design for Six Sigma, Lean Design/Manufacturing is a plus.
