Car is being sold because my wife is making me. It's been parked about a year, just threw in a new battery and it fired right up - it runs great, and idles so smooth. I'm the 2nd owner, the first was my aunt - this has been a one family car, always religiously maintained. I have owned it since 2000, and enjoyed every minute of it. 1996 Chevrolet Corvette Collector Edition

Sebring Silver, LT4 330 HP engine, 6 speed transmission, Hawk brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, K&N air filter, 2 tops; 1 painted, 1 glass. Grey leather interior, Bose Gold sound system with 6 speakers, cassette and CD player, automatic climate control with a/c, driver and passenger 6 way reclining power seats with 3 zone power lumbar support. Cruise control, tilt wheel, power windows, power steering, power brakes, power locks, dual airbags, trip computer, traction control, ABS, lighted vanity mirrors, heated power side mirrors, rear defrost, power rear hatch release. New a/c condenser, new battery, new intake gasket, new rear window weather stripping.

This is the same car as a Grand Sport, except for the rear wheel flares and the 335 series rear tires. It even has Grand Sport badging on the engine which you can see in the other pictures. This was the last year for the C4 body style and the only year they made the LT4 engine. Always garaged, adult owned, oil changed every 3000 miles with Mobil 1 synthetic. Even though this is one fast car with a top speed of over 170 MPH, if you drive it conservatively you can get 26 MPG on the highway no problem! I’ve done it! Others have gotten almost 30 MPG! I really don’t want to sell this car but I’m getting married and I have to pay for the wedding somehow! Don't get me wrong, my fiancee loves this car but she has expensive taste as far as weddings go :).

I’ve had this car for about 4 years and only put 8,000 miles on it. Most of the time it sits in the garage, and it’s never been driven in the rain or snow by me. It hasn't even been driven at all this year. It's just been sitting in the garage and I'd like to see someone get some enjoyment out of it rather than have it sit unused.
