Family of 3 consisting of myself, age 43, my fiance, age 45, and my daughter who will be 13 at the end of the month need either a small 2-bedroom house, condo, or apartment to rent, hopefully for November, in East Hampton. I am interested in East Hampton mainly because my daughter is in 8th grade @ the middle school and absolutley loves it there, therefore, I don't want to uproot her from another school, friends, etc, plus we do like the town very much!
We have been paying $775 for a small 2-bedroom apartment w/heat that is supposed to be included-I say "supposed" to be included as even with the temperatures as cold as they have gotten lately, noone in this building has heat yet! We would prefer a place with heat included...hot water would be great but if not, that's ok but heat provided is pretty much a must unless the rental price was pretty low. Also, we do not have money for a security deposit, and first months rent (I would not have a month's rent until the 3rd)so we would be more than willing to sign a document saying that in the unlikely event any damage was caused to the rental property while we were living there that we would be responsible for any cleanup, repair, etc. Also my fiance is a "jack-of-all-trades" and would be willing to do any repairs, upkeep-he has done many jobs such as carpentry, painting, roofing, construction, grounds keeping, etc. We would like to move before the snow/winter hits and I'm sure most landlords would like their buildings occupied before the snow/winter hits to prevent pipes freezing, etc!
